About the position

The HR Operations Analyst for Learning Management Solutions (LMS) is responsible for managing and optimizing the company's SumTotal Learning Management System and PeopleSoft performance and talent management. This role involves ensuring system functionality, data accuracy, and providing support to internal teams for training, reporting, and troubleshooting. The analyst collaborates with various stakeholders to implement talent solutions, improve user experiences, and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the SumTotal LMS, including user setup, course creation, content uploads, and system configurations.
  • Ensure PeopleSoft and the SumTotal platform is functioning efficiently by performing regular audits, system updates, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Generate regular and custom reports on learning activities, course completions, compliance, and user performance.
  • Serve as the point of contact for users, offering technical support and resolving issues related to access, functionality, and system navigation.
  • Assist with the upload, organization, and management of learning content in the LMS.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance user experience, and implement system improvements.
  • Provide training to employees and stakeholders on how to use PeopleSoft and the LMS effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards regarding data privacy and e-learning certifications.
  • Work with SumTotal and other third-party vendors to resolve technical issues and implement system enhancements.
  • Participate in Talent Solutions related projects such as new module implementation, system migrations, or integrations with other HR and learning platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 4 - 6 years of experience working with Learning Management Systems (equivalent experience may be substituted for degree).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues swiftly to maintain system integrity and performance.
  • Expertise in managing and analyzing data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and security across the HRIS.
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary for consulting with executive level leaders and collaborating effectively with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to assess current state, propose solutions and measure results.
  • Ethical and professional conduct, adherence to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of work, including confidentiality, integrity, and transparency.
  • Strong technical understanding of LMS platforms and learning technologies.
  • Experience with reporting and data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to train and support non-technical users on the LMS.
  • Knowledge of e-learning standards (SCORM, AICC, xAPI) and compliance regulations.
