About the position

The Talent Specialist I - Talent Acquisition at Christus Health is responsible for managing various functions within the Regional Talent Team, focusing on the onboarding process for candidates across the system. This role requires a high level of professionalism, organization, and customer service, as it involves interacting with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers while ensuring compliance with recruiting policies and procedures. The position demands attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Full Cycle Post Offer Processes including preboarding, cross boarding, and initial onboarding for employees and contractors.
  • Interact with recruiters, candidates, and hiring managers to communicate processes, timelines, expectations, and status updates.
  • Utilize, maintain, update, and edit ERP system to facilitate accurate candidate data.
  • Troubleshoot data inconsistencies to ensure timely onboarding and processing of new hires.
  • Proactively monitor the status of onboarding tasks and communicate updates to relevant parties.
  • Knowledge of company recruiting policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Serve as a dependable point of contact for candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
  • Prepare recruiting reports as requested.
  • Manage candidate travel and lodging for interviews as needed.
  • Assist with planning and executing recruiting events such as hiring events and career fairs.
  • Inventory/Supply Management for the respective region.
  • Manage bonus programs including sign-on, referral, and relocation bonuses.
  • Ensure compliance management for new hires and transfers prior to finalizing files.
  • Partner closely with key business owners to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Provide support for new hires with General Orientation Technical Difficulties.
  • Invoice coding and assist with additional work assignment requests.
  • Labor Council Presentation - Reviewing, opening, and posting positions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 0-2 Years previous recruiting support or HR experience preferred
  • Technical proficiency in Virtual platforms (Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams), Outlook, MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and HRIS systems
  • Takes initiative in situations in anticipation of needs
  • Experience supporting multiple people and managing ongoing projects
  • Competent problem solver
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Ability to provide accurate and efficient service under constant deadlines
  • Skilled in organizing tasks and establishing priorities
  • Ability to gather data, consistently track metrics, and prepare reports
