This role is critical in maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency in the handling of various materials. The position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and involves physical labor, including climbing, lifting, and operating mechanical equipment. The starting pay for this position is $20.00 per hour, and the company emphasizes a promote-from-within mentality, providing opportunities for career advancement. As a Transloading Loader, you will be responsible for performing inspections at heights of 15 to 20 feet, climbing onto tank cars and trucks to seal trailers, and operating various types of mechanical equipment, including small tractors and golf carts. Preventive maintenance on equipment is also a key responsibility, which includes changing oil, starters, batteries, and clutches. You will be expected to maintain safety audit requirements, including hazardous waste transfer logs and manifests, and prepare products for transferring through heating, sparging, and sampling. The role demands a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work independently while adhering to strict safety protocols.
