About the position
The Tank Technician (Foreman) at OWL Services is responsible for overseeing and executing projects related to the installation, removal, and servicing of above ground and underground petroleum tank systems. This role requires a strong focus on safety, compliance with industry standards, and effective management of a construction crew. The technician will work in diverse environments and handle various tasks including soil remediation and confined space tank cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a safe work environment according to all applicable regulations.
- Follow standard industry procedures and manufacturers' recommendations.
- Manage a construction crew efficiently with clear and precise instructions.
- Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders.
- Install, remove, and service above ground and underground petroleum tanks.
- Work with threaded steel pipe, flex piping, and fiberglass piping.
- Be familiar with industry materials and equipment.
Requirements
- Licensed and certified to perform the work.
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
- Ability to work in diverse environments such as confined spaces, trenches, and heights.
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift in excess of 45 lbs.
- Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
