About the position
The Tank Technician role is focused on ensuring high-quality workmanship in the maintenance and repair of ISO tanks. This position involves inspecting tanks, performing repairs, and interacting with customers to address their needs. The technician will also be responsible for preparing parts, installing components, and conducting periodic testing, all while adhering to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Prep parts according to the work orders.
- Install parts onto ISO Tank according to drawings.
- Repair tanks according to off-lease estimate.
- Perform periodic testing of ISO tank.
- Work with third party inspectors.
- General maintenance of ISO tanks, chassis, and shop.
- Perform daily assigned equipment inspection.
- Working at heights of 8' and higher.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience with hand/power tools (impact driver, angle grinder, wrenches/ratchets, hammers, etc.).
- Ability to work on brakes, air lines, and lights on chassis.
- Mechanical experience of 2 years a plus.
- Willingness to learn welding is a plus.
Nice-to-haves
- Forklift certification a plus.
