About the position

Westmor Industries is seeking a skilled Tank Truck Technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining truck tanks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational requirements. The role requires expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on propane and refined fuel trucks.

Responsibilities

• Performing general repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks and transports
• Demonstrate proficiency in TIG welding techniques
• Effectively replace similar parts to demonstrate basic mechanical skills
• Diagnose and repair 12 volt electrical, air and hydraulic systems
• Practice safe work habits when handling gas, diesel, LP, and lube oils

Requirements

• Proficient in mechanical repairs and maintenance of truck tanks
• Experience with electrical systems, particularly 12 volt systems
• Basic mechanical skills for part replacement
• Knowledge of safe handling practices for fuels and oils
