About the position

Westmor Industries is seeking a dedicated Tank Truck Technician who is skilled in repairing and maintaining truck tanks. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining truck tanks to ensure they meet safety standards and operational requirements, including electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Performing general repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks and transports
• Demonstrate proficiency in TIG welding techniques
• Effectively replace similar parts to demonstrate basic mechanical skills
• Diagnose and repair 12 volt electrical, air and hydraulic systems
• Practice safe work habits when handling gas, diesel, LP, and lube oils

Requirements

• Experience in mechanical repairs and maintenance of truck tanks
• Proficiency in TIG welding techniques
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical systems including 12 volt systems
• Strong attention to safety and detail

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with propane and refined fuel trucks
• Knowledge of air and hydraulic systems
