About the position

The Tank Wagon Fuel Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting and delivering petroleum products to various customers while adhering to commercial driving regulations. This role requires a valid commercial driver's license with tanker and hazmat endorsements, along with a commitment to safety and professionalism in representing the company. The driver will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver petroleum products to customers safely and legally.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Communicate with dispatch at least once every two hours to confirm deliveries.
• Handle and complete all necessary paperwork related to truck operation and product delivery.
• Report any accidents or safety hazards encountered during the route.
• Ensure proper handling of fuel hoses and equipment during loading and unloading.

Requirements

• Valid commercial class A driver's license with tanker and hazmat endorsements.
• Minimum of three years previous commercial driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving and vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to remain alert while driving for extended periods.
• Must pass drug and alcohol tests as required.
