About the position

As a CDL-A Tanker Driver for James J. Williams, you will be responsible for hauling vital hazardous and non-hazardous bulk materials on semi-regional routes. This position offers experienced drivers the opportunity to drive proudly while enjoying competitive pay packages and excellent benefits. The role is designed for those who have a valid Class A CDL and Hazmat Certification, and it requires a minimum of 6 months of recent driving experience. You will be home most days during the week, providing a balance between work and personal life. The financial package includes a daily rate of $325.00, with the potential to earn between $1,400.00 and $2,400.00 per week, depending on experience, routes, and attendance. Additional compensation may include tarp pay, stop pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, and over-dimensional pay as appropriate. James J. Responsibilities

  • Haul hazardous and non-hazardous bulk materials on semi-regional routes.
  • Ensure safe and timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety regulations.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each load.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid Class A CDL.
  • Must have a Hazmat Certification.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Minimum of 6 months of recent driving experience required.
  • A safe driving record on the road is essential.

Nice-to-haves

  • Canadian admissibility is a plus.
  • Doubles/triples endorsement is a plus.
