About the position

The Tapestry Application Analyst will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing existing software applications within a leading hospital's Tapestry portfolio. This role involves designing, building, testing, and supporting new applications and modules, while collaborating with business owners, vendors, and other team members to address complex problems and requests. The analyst will ensure compliance with policies and procedures, provide user training, and maintain documentation for system changes.

Responsibilities

  • Respond and address incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
  • Meet department Service Level Agreements (SLA) for ticket resolution and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot issues within applications/service lines, collaborating with other teams and vendors.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for specific functionalities and workflows.
  • Evaluate and escalate problems impacting business operations to management.
  • Document system changes and ensure all relevant parties are informed prior to production changes.
  • Conduct thorough testing before system changes are implemented in production.
  • Assist in developing user training aids and may train end users as needed.
  • Complete assigned project deliverables accurately and on time.
  • Evaluate business owner needs and provide workflow and build recommendations.
  • Review and analyze new functionality in releases and present recommendations to business owners.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with business owners and serve as Customer Relationship Manager for small projects.
  • Lead cross-functional workgroups and represent Tapestry in various committees.
  • Build and maintain security-related master files for the application team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Tapestry/Epic application analysis experience in a healthcare organization.
  • 5+ years of build experience across the Tapestry module.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare information technology, computer science, or related area, or equivalent experience/training.
  • Must have or acquire necessary certifications to support applications, including attending Epic Certification training in Wisconsin if not already certified.
  • Experience with AP Claims, Contracts, DOFR, and/or Fee Schedules.
  • Knowledge of systems and functions including design, development, implementation, user support, and quality assurance.
  • Ability to research, organize, analyze, and synthesize data for decision making.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Effective leadership, collaboration skills, and strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information clearly.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and recognize problems for appropriate action.
  • Demonstrated skill in system workflow and business process flow analysis.
