The TAR Coordinator position at Linde in Gonzales, LA, is a full-time role that requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in plant engineering, turnaround execution, maintenance, and reliability activities. Familiarity with environmental, safety, and health procedures is essential, as is an understanding of function, maintenance, and inspection practices of mechanical, electrical, and analytical equipment, as well as instrumentation and controls systems basics. The TAR Coordinator will report to the Enclave Maintenance Superintendent and will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating designated maintenance activities, including routine maintenance, projects, and turnaround (TAR) activities. The primary objective is to ensure that these activities are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This position acts as the primary interface for Operations, Maintenance, Safety, and Engineering, ensuring the successful completion of maintenance objectives while maintaining the safety and efficiency of service personnel on site. Key responsibilities include leading maintenance and contract resource teams, supporting maintenance execution work processes, assisting in planned and unplanned unit shutdowns, and communicating with facility managers and shift supervisors to clarify work priorities. The TAR Coordinator will also conduct safety meetings, participate in investigations, and implement actions to maintain maximum labor productivity and cost-effectiveness. Financial responsibilities include assisting with budgets, tracking spending, and monitoring productivity and costs.
