About the position

The Task Lead / Executive Support role at Space Systems Command (SSC) involves providing acquisition Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to the SSC Contracting Directorate. This position is crucial for managing day-to-day program performance, ensuring contract deliverables align with SSC's requirements, and assisting in strategic communication and collaboration within SSC's network. The role requires expertise in executive support within defense-focused environments, with a focus on advancing U.S. space capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the official manager of duties delegated by the PM, overseeing day-to-day program performance.
• Coordinate with subordinate leadership to ensure fulfillment of performance requirements and lead task order meetings.
• Assist the Program Manager in communicating with customers, employees, and team partners to address concerns and gather feedback.
• Gather and submit contract deliverables in compliance with BTAS processes for review and timely submittal to customers.
• Provide acquisition SME advice and support to SSC's Front Office Group (FOG), including preparing reports and briefings.
• Coordinate, consolidate, analyze, and monitor administrative and office management processes.
• Participate in Task Lead forums with the PM and Executive Team to review performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Actively engage with SSC leadership to support and monitor strategic communication activities.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Master's degree.
• 15 years' experience in DoD executive program management, business management, acquisitions (non-contracting), or operations.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMT 3400 or higher (or predecessors).
