About the position

The Benefits Analyst/Task Lead will be part of the Plan Assumption Team at Serco, focusing on the administration of benefits for over 35 million Americans. This role involves overseeing complex tasks related to benefits processing, monitoring staff workload, and providing training and feedback to team members. The Task Lead will report directly to the Project Manager or Operations Manager and is expected to maintain high standards of communication and ethical conduct while supporting the operational needs of the team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the review and processing of complex tasks related to benefits administration work.
• Monitor staff workload and ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Provide training and feedback to Benefits Administrators and Administrative Support Staff.
• Assist the Operations Supervisor in preparing operational data and reporting on task status.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for operational processes.
• Maintain effective and professional communication with customers and team members.
• Promote an environment of trust and ethical standards within the team.

Requirements

• An Associates Degree in a related field or an additional year of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• 2 years of related experience in employee benefits, claims processing, billing, payroll, banking, human resources, customer service, or quality review.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
• Candidates must reside in specified states: OH, FL, WV, VA, MD, DC, DE, CA, PA, IA, TN, GA, CO, MN, TX, IL, KY, ME, NC, or MA.
