The Tasting Room Associate & Social Media Manager at LXV Wine is a dual role that combines customer service in the tasting room with managing social media marketing efforts. This position is designed for individuals with a strong background in both wine and digital marketing, aiming to enhance the customer experience and promote the brand through effective social media strategies. The role offers a pathway towards a full-time Marketing Manager position, emphasizing the importance of community engagement and exceptional service in the wine industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in the tasting room, ensuring a memorable experience for guests.
• Manage and create content for social media platforms, focusing on brand promotion and engagement.
• Develop and implement social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
• Utilize social media management tools and analytics to track performance and optimize strategies.
• Assist in the sale and upsell of ultra-premium wines, leveraging knowledge of wine and winemaking.
• Collaborate with the team to create compelling brand content, including culinary and recipe development.
• Maintain a clean and organized tasting room environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a tasting room associate.
• 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on social media for small to medium-sized companies.
• Strong writing skills and understanding of content strategy.
• Familiarity with social media management tools and Facebook Business Manager.
• Experience with web publishing platforms such as WordPress, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and spend a significant portion of the day on your feet.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic photo-editing/design skills.
• A passion for culinary arts and experiences.
• Knowledge of Paso Robles wine country and its unique AVAs.
