About the position

The Tasting Room Hospitality Lead at Gainey Estate Vineyards is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience in the tasting room, driving sales, and fostering new customer relationships. This role involves leading wine tastings, educating guests about the Gainey story, and participating in the daily operations of the tasting room. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Create a high-level guest and hospitality experience that drives sales and customer acquisition.
• Lead wine tastings and educate guests and Wine Club members about the Gainey story.
• Participate in the daily operations of the Tasting Room.
• Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality to all guests.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Experience in serving or hospitality roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Passion for wine and customer service.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a tasting room or winery setting.
• Knowledge of wine and wine tasting techniques.
