About the position

Intuit is seeking Tax Associates for the upcoming tax season. This position offers the opportunity to work 100% remotely, allowing you to collaborate with an exceptional team from the comfort of your home or office. As a Tax Associate, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation. You will be responsible for providing tax advice, full-service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries. Your work will contribute to Intuit's mission of "Powering Prosperity Around the World." You will utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate and helpful information to customers in a clear and understandable manner. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner. You will also be responsible for documenting interactions to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
• Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
• Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
• Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate information to customers.
• Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Experience using commercial tax preparation software.
• Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
