About the position

Silkman & Associates CPAs is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their West Los Angeles team. This full-time, temporary position caters to high-net-worth individuals in the entertainment and other industries, offering a supportive and flexible work environment with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership income tax returns.
• Bookkeeping.
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returns.
• Tax planning and implementation.
• Correspondence to various government agencies regarding tax matters.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of tax experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Proficiency in Pro System fx, QuickBooks, CFS, Excel, Word, and Outlook is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow through with responsibilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work on multiple jobs simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with good communication skills.
