About the position

We are seeking a Tax Accountant to join our team in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role involves processing client data, providing tax assistance, processing returns, and offering clerical support as needed. The position is temporary and contract-based, focusing on various accounting tasks using multiple software tools.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process client returns
• Provide tax assistance to clients
• Process and manage client data
• Offer clerical support as necessary
• Utilize Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) skills
• Conduct Bank Reconciliations
• Manage General Ledger operations
• Make necessary Journal Entries
• Handle Month End Close tasks
• Use NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks.

Requirements

• Solid understanding and experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficiency in executing bank reconciliations
• In-depth knowledge of the General Ledger
• Ability to create and manage Journal Entries accurately
• Adept at performing Month End Close tasks
• Familiarity with NetSuite
• Experience with Oracle software is highly desirable
• Proficient in QuickBooks for accounting purposes
• Knowledge of SAP accounting software is essential
• Ability to proficiently process returns when required.
