About the position

OPTI Staffing is hiring a Tax Accountant for a dynamic accounting firm located in Lake Oswego, OR. This full-time position offers a competitive salary based on experience and provides a flexible work environment. As a Tax Accountant, you will work closely with multiple Shareholders to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns. You will also assist with special projects for Shareholders as needed, contributing to the overall success of the firm. In this role, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and exceptional service. You will be responsible for adjusting trial balances for tax preparation, conducting tax planning for entities and individuals, and responding to tax notices from Federal, State, or local municipalities. Additionally, you will research and resolve tax and accounting issues affecting clients, ensuring that they receive the highest level of service and support. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in accounting and have experience in adjusting trial balances for tax return preparation, as well as tax planning and research. A high degree of integrity, ethics, diplomacy, and confidentiality is essential, along with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with multiple Shareholders to ensure accurate and timely preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns.

Requirements
