Haga Kommer, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their accounting/tax department in Bismarck. This role involves preparing and reviewing various tax returns, providing client advisory services, and managing multiple client engagements. Responsibilities

• Preparing corporate, partnership, individual, trust or estate tax returns
• Reviewing returns prepared by staff and providing training
• Communicating with clients as a trusted advisor regarding tax preparation, planning and complex tax issues
• Corresponding with taxing authorities regarding tax notices
• Performing research and being the contact person for the IRS on a client's behalf
• Providing accounting services for tax clients
• Preparing and compiling financial statements

Requirements

• CPA license or EA Certification
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
• 7+ years of experience
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple client engagements
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Ability to effectively delegate work as needed
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills
• Attention to detail
