About the position

Levinzon CPA is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join their dynamic team. This role involves preparing and reviewing tax returns for a diverse client base, including individuals, partnerships, and corporations. The Tax Accountant will also engage with tax authorities, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the firm's success through tax expertise and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individual, partnership, S-corporation, and corporate clients.
• Communicate with tax authorities to address client inquiries and resolve issues.
• Mentor and support junior staff in tax preparation and professional development.
• Stay updated with changes in tax regulations and advise clients on potential impacts.
• Assist in developing tax planning strategies for a diverse client portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required.
• At least four years of relevant experience in a CPA firm environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Familiarity with international taxation, including GILTI tax, forms 5471, 8865, 3520 is a plus.
• Solid understanding of tax concepts, particularly partnership basis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• CPA certification is preferred.
