About the position

The Tax Accountant position at Clovity is a part-time role based in Malvern, PA, focusing on tax accounting responsibilities. This hybrid job requires the employee to work 2-3 days in the office, with a total of 25-30 hours per week. The role involves various tax-related tasks, including the calculation and filing of quarterly estimates and annual extensions, as well as assisting with corporate income tax returns and state tax notices.

Responsibilities

• Calculation and filing of quarterly estimates, approximately 275 per quarter.
• Calculation and filing of annual extensions, approximately 275.
• Prepare and file quarterly Excise tax returns including PCORI, Superfund, and FIT.
• Assist with e-filing transmission of annual Corporate Income Tax returns.
• Assist with resolution of State tax notices.
• Maintain/update the SIT state model each quarter in CorpTax.

Requirements

• B.S. in Accounting or equivalent experience in accounting required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required.
• 5 years of experience as an accountant preferred.
• 5 years of experience in income tax preferred.
• 4 years of experience in tax accounting preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of CorpTax or similar income tax compliance software preferred.
• Knowledge of CorpTax Office and CorpTax Planner is a plus.
