Responsibilities

• Research and review transactions, compile documentation, and prepare financial statements for affiliated entities.
• Prepare general ledger entries and reconcile accounts, including bank statements and investment assets.
• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
• Prepare individual and business tax returns, including various schedules and state tax returns.
• Respond to accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Analyze financial information by preparing spreadsheet reports.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients through professionalism and communication skills.
• Stay updated on new tax laws and changes.
• Exercise accountability, teamwork, good judgment, and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting (Bachelor's or Master's) or CPA certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to articulate complex financial information to various clientele.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Previous experience in accounting or tax preparation preferred.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
