About the position

The Tax Accountant at TechVeda Inc. is responsible for preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy in accounting practices, and providing comprehensive accounting support to clients. This role requires strong technical skills in tax and accounting, as well as excellent communication abilities to build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual tax returns for clients, ensuring accuracy with year-end adjustments in QuickBooks.
• Prepare tax filings for S-Corporations, Partnerships, and C-Corps using ProSeries software.
• Support client accounting needs by ensuring accuracy with year-end adjustments in QuickBooks.

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification preferred or actively pursuing certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, and tax software (ProSeries preferred).
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong technical skills in tax and accounting.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn from an experienced CPA.
