This full-time position involves preparing corporate and personal tax returns, researching tax laws, and managing various accounting tasks. The role requires significant client interaction and the ability to handle complex tax issues, especially during the busy tax season.

Responsibilities

• Prepare corporate and personal tax returns.
• Research tax laws and regulations.
• Complete various accounting, payroll, and sales tax tasks.
• Set up new client accounts from start to finish.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed.
• Correspond with IRS and State government authorities.

Requirements

• Accounting degree required.
• Public accounting experience required.
• CPA license preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in business and individual return preparation.
• Experience using Lacerte software is a plus.
• QuickBooks experience required.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
