JWM CPA & COMPANY, PC is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their boutique tax and accounting firm in Manhattan Beach. The role involves leading, managing, and reviewing multiple tax engagements, focusing on delivering quality tax services primarily for clients in real estate, entertainment, professional services, and technology. Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and review multiple tax engagements.
• Present and detail review federal and state income tax returns for individuals and diverse business entities.
• Proactively plan taxes and coordinate tax strategies with clients and engagement teams.
• Compile and review GAAP Financials.
• Correspond with clients and tax authorities; prepare internal memos.
• Manage multiple clients; monitor projects and production goals.
• Train, mentor, and provide guidance to staff.
• Build new and existing client relationships; demonstrate knowledge of client's business.

Requirements

• CPA with 10+ years of experience in public accounting.
• Sharp business acumen.
• Significant supervisory experience (2+ years), including experience in reviewing staff.
• Strong computer skills in Lacerte tax software, Excel, and Word.
