As a full-service accounting firm located in Brecksville, Ohio, we leverage smart technology, skilled professionals, and efficient processes to help our clients achieve their financial goals. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with over 7 years of experience in public accounting, including the supervision and review of business and individual tax engagements, as well as the compilation and review of financial statements. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with technology are essential, as our tech stack includes Microsoft 365, UltraTax, RIA Checkpoint, QuickBooks Online, ShareFile, and various other applications. The candidate should enjoy developing new solutions, improving processes, and driving projects to completion while maintaining excellent communication with clients, colleagues, and other professionals. This position also emphasizes continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies and challenges. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing business, individual, and trust tax returns, conducting tax research, planning, and projections, supervising staff accountants, and overseeing client accounting services. The candidate will consult with clients to identify their needs, propose solutions, and develop service plans, all while improving internal processes to ensure timely project completion. Experience in industry is a plus as we expand our client accounting services practice, and the ability to manage multiple projects is crucial in this role. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review business, individual, and trust tax returns
  • Conduct tax research, planning, and projections
  • Supervise and review the work of staff accountants
  • Coordinate services and projects with firm owner and clients
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements
  • Perform compilation and review engagements
  • Oversee client accounting services
  • Consult with clients to identify needs and propose solutions
  • Develop and implement service plans
  • Improve internal processes for timely project completion

Requirements

  • CPA license required
  • 7+ years of experience in public accounting
  • Experience in supervising and reviewing tax engagements
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Tech-savvy with experience in Microsoft 365, UltraTax, RIA Checkpoint, QuickBooks Online, ShareFile
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Embraces continuous learning and new technologies
