Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate with clients about the tax preparation process, setting appointments, and following up regarding missing documents.
• Assist with tax preparation and filing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
• Respond to client inquiries via calls and emails regarding tax questions and appointment scheduling.
• Prepare federal and state income tax returns according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations by required deadlines.
• Prepare and submit Power of Attorney documents related to client's IRS and State tax notifications.
• Provide support for various tax-related projects as necessary.

Requirements

• Knowledge of tax processing and flow, tax forms, and related deadlines.
• Self-motivated with strong critical-thinking skills and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Impeccable mathematics skills with attention to detail.
• Time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, such as Word, Outlook, and Excel programs.
• Accounting, Taxation, and/or Bookkeeping experience and/or training.
