About the position
As a Tax Advisor, you will provide expert advice on tax-related matters to clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and optimizing their financial strategies. This role involves conducting consultations, preparing tax returns, and staying updated on tax laws to assist clients effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct tax consultations and reviews for individuals and businesses
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns on behalf of clients
- Offer guidance on tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice
- Assist clients in resolving tax-related issues and audits
- Collaborate with clients to develop effective financial plans
Requirements
- Proficiency in debits, credits, and financial acumen
- Strong technical accounting skills for account analysis
- Knowledge of mergers, acquisitions, and budgeting processes
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero and Quicken
- Ability to interpret financial reports accurately
