About the position
Intuit is seeking Tax Associates for the upcoming tax season. This seasonal position allows for 100% remote work, where you will assist clients in navigating the complexities of taxation while enhancing the Intuit brand through excellent customer service. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of paid experience in tax preparation, specifically in filing individual 1040 tax returns.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
- Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
- Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
- Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
- Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools.
- Dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
