About the position

The Tax Change Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive change management strategy to facilitate the transition of key stakeholders from current to future states. This role involves collaboration with various teams across the organization to ensure effective change management practices are implemented, ultimately enhancing the digital transformation journey within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage change throughout assigned projects under the direction of the change management leader.
  • Create and maintain the change management plan and its supporting deliverables.
  • Assess proposed changes and outline change plans for implementation.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of change materials and track change management activities.
  • Facilitate conversations to ensure comprehensive understanding of topics and refine deliverables based on feedback.
  • Support project teams in analyzing and developing actions in response to feedback.
  • Pursue opportunities for increasing change management acumen through training.
  • Transition work from project/product teams to operations/business teams.
  • Serve as a Career Advisor, providing feedback, coaching, and training to advisees.
  • Act as the primary liaison to the change sponsor, project manager, leadership, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or Accounting (preferred).
  • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) is required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working with leadership and managing teams.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience on initiatives requiring formal Change Management plans.
  • Strong results-driven mindset with high integrity and ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Superior communication skills and ability to manage change effectively.
  • Effective cross-channel communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Prior public accounting or professional services experience with mid to large firms.
