About the position

Renoir Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Tax Credit Leasing Agent to join our team in Rancho Cordova, CA. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in sales, marketing, and customer service, and who are looking for a temporary yet fulfilling role in property management. As a Tax Credit Leasing Agent, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate resident files and ensuring compliance with government regulations. You will work closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to guarantee that quality work is completed efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include processing re-certifications and renewals in a timely manner, assisting applicants with the application process, and creating and updating the waitlist. You will also be responsible for completing daily, weekly, or monthly reports as assigned by the Property Manager, and assisting residents with work orders or any issues they may encounter in their homes. Additionally, you will conduct move-in walkthroughs with new residents to ensure a smooth transition. To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent customer service skills, be knowledgeable about property management software, and have a solid understanding of affordable housing and government programs. Attention to detail is paramount, as is compliance with state landlord-tenant laws, Fair Housing laws, and Cal-OSHA regulations. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook is also required. You should be able to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude, and possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Processes and maintains accurate resident files
