About the position

Renoir Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Tax Credit Leasing Agent to join our team in Concord, CA. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in sales, marketing, and customer service, and who are looking for a temporary yet fulfilling role in property management. As a Tax Credit Leasing Agent, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate resident files and ensuring compliance with government regulations. You will work closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to guarantee that all tasks are completed to a high standard, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our residents. In this role, you will be responsible for processing re-certifications and renewals in a timely manner, assisting applicants throughout the application process, and creating and updating the waitlist. You will also be tasked with completing daily, weekly, or monthly reports as assigned by the Property Manager, and assisting residents with work orders or any issues they may encounter in their homes. A key part of your responsibilities will include conducting move-in walkthroughs with new residents to ensure a smooth transition into their new homes. Responsibilities

  • Processes and maintains accurate resident files
  • Works closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure quality work is completed
  • Processes re-certifications and renewals on time
  • Ensures that all applicants and residents are in compliance with government regulations
  • Assists applicants with the application process
  • Creates and updates the wait list
  • Completes any daily, weekly, or monthly reports assigned by Property Manager
  • Assists residents with work orders or any issues they are having in their home
  • Completes move-in walkthroughs with new residents

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Property Management software
  • Knowledge of affordable housing/government programs
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding and compliance with state landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing laws, and Cal-OSHA
  • Proficiency in Excel, WORD, and Outlook
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive friendly attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals
