About the position

Renoir Staffing is currently seeking a Tax Credit Leasing Agent for a temporary and full-time position in Hayward, CA. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in sales, marketing, and customer service. As a Tax Credit Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for processing and maintaining accurate resident files, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and assisting applicants throughout the application process. You will work closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure that quality work is completed and that all re-certifications and renewals are processed on time. Additionally, you will create and update the waitlist, complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports assigned by the Property Manager, and assist residents with work orders or any issues they may encounter in their homes. Responsibilities

  • Processes and maintains accurate resident files
  • Works closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure quality work is completed
  • Processes re-certifications and renewals on time
  • Ensures that all applicants and residents are in compliance with government regulations
  • Assists applicants with the application process
  • Creates and updates the wait list
  • Completes any daily, weekly, or monthly reports assigned by Property Manager
  • Assists residents with work orders or any issues they are having in their home
  • Completes move-in walkthroughs with new residents

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills to navigate various situations
  • Knowledge of Property Management software
  • Understanding of affordable housing/government programs
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of state landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing laws, and Cal-OSHA
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse individuals
