About the position
We are seeking a Director/Partner level Tax Executive to oversee tax engagements from start to finish, ensuring high-quality work and profitability. This role emphasizes work-life balance with a flexible schedule and summer hours, making it ideal for experienced professionals looking for a better quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Oversee tax engagements from start to finish including budgeting, staffing, planning, production, first-level or final review, total work quality, and profitability
- Hold primary client responsibility and oversee specific areas of client service
- Complete preparation of more complex tax returns, reviewing easy to medium returns and researching technical issues
- Aid business development with clients and non-clients to expand our practice and develop prospects
- Concentrate on practice development with both prospective and existing clients
Requirements
- 5+ years of Public Accounting experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Experience preparing and reviewing complex returns
- Strong working knowledge of tax law and other professional standards/regulations
