About the position

The Tax Director position at Randstad US involves overseeing the company's tax processes, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency within the tax department. This role requires a strong background in tax accounting and a collaborative approach to work with various departments to resolve tax-related issues. The position is based in Purchase, New York, and is permanent, offering a competitive salary range.

Responsibilities

• Direct the income tax provision process, including coordination with third party service providers, in the preparation of the company's consolidated quarterly and annual income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, US GAAP, and FIN 40.
• Act as a liaison between business, legal, finance and other departments to assist with identifying and resolving issues associated with transactions and projects.
• Promote tax department efficiencies by implementing process improvements and technology solutions to add value and reduce risk in the compliance, accounting, and forecasting area.
• Oversee income tax forecasting processes to support tax planning initiatives and tax accounting.
• Oversee income and indirect tax compliance processes, including coordination with third party service providers, to ensure timely and accurate tax filings globally.
• Develop and maintain tax processes ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance.
• Perform research on various tax issues including US federal, state and international tax.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in public accounting and industry
• Certified Public Accountant preferred
• Extensive international tax experience, with focus on US inbounds and partnerships preferred.
