The Tax Experienced Associate - Internal Tax Services at Baker Tilly is responsible for providing partnership tax services, including tax preparation, planning, and consulting. Responsibilities

• Provide various federal tax compliance and consulting services to Baker Tilly.
• Offer tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships.
• Participate in tax research projects and assist in drafting IRS responses.
• Collaborate with leaders on special projects related to flow-through taxation.
• Develop recommendations for leadership discussions and strategies.
• Communicate with specialty tax practices on complex tax matters.
• Engage in on-the-job coaching and mentoring, and participate in firm-wide learning programs.
• Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build internal relationships.
• Support the growth of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, or a related business degree with sufficient coursework to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam.
• CPA license preferred.
• One or more years of experience in federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
• Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
