Responsibilities

• Provide various federal tax compliance and consulting services to Baker Tilly.
• Deliver tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships.
• Participate in tax research projects and assist in drafting IRS responses.
• Collaborate with leaders on special projects related to flow-through taxation.
• Develop recommendations for leadership discussions and strategy.
• Communicate with specialty tax practices on complex tax matters.
• Engage in direct coaching and mentoring, and participate in learning programs.
• Network and build strong internal relationships.
• Support the growth and development of team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, or a related business degree with sufficient coursework to sit for the CPA or Bar exam.
• CPA license preferred.
• One or more years of experience in federal tax compliance and consulting in a public accounting firm preferred.
• Strong skills in time management, communication, interpersonal relations, and problem-solving.
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
