About the position

Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season to assist clients in completing their taxes using TurboTax products. This role involves providing tax advice, full-service return preparation, and managing product inquiries, all while working remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
• Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
• Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
• Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
• Interact with customers through video communication software and document interactions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
• Strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Excellent customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using commercial tax preparation software.
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
