About the position
This internship position at Clarios involves working under the supervision of Tax Managers to assist with various tasks related to international and domestic tax compliance, tax planning, tax reporting, tax controversy, and transfer pricing. The role is designed for undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field, providing hands-on experience in tax-related functions within a corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with U.S. tax compliance duties related to international and domestic operations.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns including 1120, 1065, 5471, 8865, 8858 and related documentation.
- Support tax planning projects as needed.
- Contribute to components of the global tax provision process.
- Assist with transfer pricing duties related to calculations, intercompany agreements, and documentation.
- Learn to work with non-tax corporate and operational functions such as legal, treasury, and accounting.
- Leverage technology to improve processes and workpapers.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer.
