About the position

As a member of our team, you will advise clients on both local and international tax matters, acting as a strategic consultant in areas such as business analysis, working capital management, and profit sharing for partners. Your role will involve helping organizations understand the pricing implications of goods and services exchanged between related parties, as well as providing insightful advice on the tax implications of various deals. In this position, you will focus on developing tax strategies that ensure compliance, increase post-tax profits, and provide application support to implement best practices in corporate tax. Responsibilities

  • Participate in select phases of tax compliance engagements.
  • Research tax laws, rules/regulations and analyze their application to specific situations.
  • Demonstrate creative thinking and individual initiative while working as a team member, building solid relationships with team members.
  • Proactively seek guidance, clarification and feedback.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while exercising professional skepticism.

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
  • Required cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher.
  • Client service intern positions are typically for students in their 3rd year of a 4-year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5-year program.
  • Before starting full-time, meet all educational requirements to be eligible for the CPA license in the relevant state.

  • Demonstrates basic abilities in researching and analyzing tax laws, rules, and regulations.

Benefits

  • Salary range: $28.00 - $44.75 per hour, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
