About the position

The Legal Technology Manager role at Deloitte's Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) team focuses on leveraging technology to enhance legal processes and improve efficiencies within legal departments. This position involves managing client interactions, optimizing legal software solutions, and contributing to business development while supporting a team dedicated to transforming legal services delivery through innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
  • Work with a team to optimize legal processes using technology.
  • Identify, design, and leverage technology solutions to meet legal department needs.
  • Provide training on processes and technologies to clients.
  • Maintain relationships and serve clients holistically.
  • Participate in staffing processes and retention activities.
  • Develop and maintain contacts for business development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience with legal and/or technology solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) software such as Agiloft, SirionOne, or Icertis.
  • Experience with document extraction tools and data wrangling tools like Alteryx.
  • Familiarity with visualization/BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
  • Experience with DocuSign CLM or Salesforce configuration.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% based on client needs.
  • One of the following active accreditations: CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, PMP, CCM, CFA, PMI-ACP, CCMP, CBAP, or Paralegal Certification.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with template rationalization and harmonization.
  • Experience in creating guides or playbooks for contracting processes.
