About the position

We are actively hiring for a Tax Manager with construction tax experience due to growth in our market. This position offers flexible locations for the right candidates across North and South Carolina, Georgia, and other parts of the Southeast. Our firm is a leading Southeast-based accounting and consulting firm that provides a broad spectrum of assurance, tax, and advisory services to our clients. We are seeking a career-minded EA/CPA/Tax Professional with a minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience. This is an immediate opportunity for partnership, growth, and development within the firm. We conduct promotions and raises twice a year, and flexible work arrangements are also available. With offices across the Southeast and our one-firm approach, we provide the opportunity to work with a wide variety of professionals ranging from 1 to 40 years of experience. Our alliance with a top 10 CPA firm gives us access to highly technical resources, allowing our team to work on large complex projects while also serving the needs of our local small business clients. As a Tax Manager, you will manage a group of clients and provide client services in the areas of individual and business taxation. You will be responsible for managing project deadlines and planning appropriately with associates and senior associates. Coordination with team members on all phases of the tax engagement is essential, as is the review of mostly business (and some individual) tax returns, providing timely and constructive feedback. High-level client service is a priority, and you will need to keep current on tax law changes and accounting-related developments and best practices. Additionally, you will work with team members for continual process improvement, participate in practice development and various firm activities, and develop an area of tax specialization.
