The Tax Manager at DeLong & Brower P.C. is a pivotal role that involves managing client relationships and overseeing tax preparation and audit engagements. This position is designed for a self-starter with extensive experience in public accounting, who is committed to excellence and collaboration. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with professional staff to provide comprehensive tax, financial, and insurance plans for clients.
  • Oversee the completion of audit engagements and review financial statements and workpapers.
  • Review and prepare corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
  • Lead, train, and mentor team members.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of recent tax preparation experience in public accounting required.
  • 3+ years of recent experience reviewing various types of returns ranging in complexity preferred.
  • Experience with tax and estate planning, and a desire to serve clients.
  • Licensed CPA preferred; CPA candidates actively pursuing licensure will also be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
