About the position

The Tax Manager at e-business International Inc. is responsible for advising clients on tax implications related to their business objectives, managing complex tax issues, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This role involves leading a tax team, engaging in business development, and applying extensive knowledge of tax policies to mitigate risks and enhance client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on tax implications of their business objectives.
• Evaluate and select alternative actions to lessen tax burden.
• Identify methods of complying with tax regulations.
• Act as the primary client contact for complex tax issues.
• Manage and train the tax team.
• Engage in networking and business development activities.
• Prepare and review various tax returns including Consolidated C-Corp, Partnerships, S-Corp, Individual, and multi-state tax returns.
• Communicate potential risks and changes in tax policy to clients.

Requirements

• Valid CPA license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience.
• Experience in tax return preparation.
• Strong knowledge of federal tax compliance and provisions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tax, Accounting, or related field.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Ultra Tax Software is preferred.
