Responsibilities

• Ensure individual and business tax returns are completed correctly and by the required deadline.
• Review, approve, and sign tax returns for release to clients.
• Coach or mentor staff members to enhance their skills and career development.
• Gather relevant tax-related information from clients for accurate tax return preparation.
• Analyze tax situations to ensure maximum tax benefits are applied.
• Network and build relationships to attract new clients or business for the firm.
• Bill clients for services and guidance provided.

Requirements

• Active CPA license is required.
• 5-7 years of experience in public accounting tax work.
• Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements.
