About the position

As an International Corporate Tax Advisory (ICTA) Manager at EY, you will play a pivotal role in managing various responsibilities related to tax planning and advising within a highly regulated industry. This position offers the opportunity to work on significant projects, coach and develop a skilled team, and maintain EY's reputation as trusted advisors by addressing complex domestic and international tax issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage various responsibilities from technical planning and advising to global project management.
  • Coach and develop a highly trained team while ensuring quality and commercial value in activities.
  • Identify and address complex domestic and international tax issues.
  • Provide technical tax advice and planning services to a portfolio of projects.
  • Build long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and requirements.
  • Lead a dedicated client service team, providing performance feedback and ensuring team members have the necessary skills and tools for growth.
  • Monitor emerging trends, technologies, and practices to maintain status as a trusted advisor.
  • Manage overall engagement, engagement economics, and engagement teams across the EY global network.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and around five years of related work experience or a graduate degree and four years of related work experience.
  • A US CPA license or US state bar membership.
  • Experience in tax due diligence, deal-structuring, and post-acquisition planning or inbound and outbound transaction consulting with international tax research, planning, and compliance experience.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex tax concepts to clients.
  • Experience managing budgets, projects, and people.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced professional services environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel when necessary.
