In the role of Tax Manager within the Global Payroll Operate practice, you will be instrumental in helping clients effectively manage their global payroll needs across more than 150 countries. This position is pivotal in reducing inefficiencies, mitigating risks, and driving process improvements within payroll functions. By managing clients' payroll obligations, you will contribute significantly to their operational success, and you will be at the heart of this mission. As a Manager in Payroll Operate focused on implementation, you will lead global payroll implementations, supervising the design, implementation, and smooth transition to new global payroll operating models for medium and large clients. You will also drive or support efforts in continuous innovation, building next-generation payroll solutions, and enhancing project delivery tools. Your capabilities will include medium to large payroll project management, risk control, process design, and procedure documentation. Governance of payroll implementation is key, and you will lead global country teams utilizing a unified global methodology throughout the payroll implementation lifecycle to mitigate project risks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global payroll implementations for medium to large clients.
  • Supervise the design and implementation of new global payroll operating models.
  • Drive continuous innovation and build next-generation payroll solutions.
  • Enhance project delivery tools and methodologies.
  • Manage project escalations and refer to senior implementation team members as needed.
  • Utilize global methodology payroll leading practices in implementations.
  • Coach and mentor junior implementation team members.
  • Support the sales process related to central implementation.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing global payroll implementations.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on risk control and process design.
  • Ability to implement centrally managed global outsourcing models.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring team members.
