About the position
The position involves working within EisnerAmper's Tax Group, focusing on international tax compliance and planning. The role requires reviewing tax compliance forms, preparing analyses for various tax provisions, and developing tax planning opportunities for cross-border transactions. The candidate will manage client interactions, supervise staff, and stay updated on tax regulations, contributing to a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Review international tax compliance forms and collaborate with the international tax team.
- Prepare analysis and computations for Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, PTEP, and FTC.
- Assist the Federal Corporate Tax Group with the tax provisions process for global operations.
- Develop tax planning opportunities for inbound and outbound cross-border transactions.
- Create tax models illustrating multinational entities' attributes, effective tax rate, and cash tax expense.
- Manage day-to-day client interactions and ensure completion of tax compliance and advisory projects.
- Supervise and train staff members.
- Share tax thought leadership and draft tax alerts.
- Stay current with Tax Reform and comprehend new regulations and rulings.
- Review Forms 1120s and/or operating 1065s with foreign filing attachments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in international tax compliance and/or planning.
- CPA, JD, or EA certification.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience using OIT, GoSystems, and/or CCH Axcess tax software.
- Knowledge of corporate and/or partnership taxation.
- Experience with RIA Checkpoint and BNA.
