About the position

CohnReznick is seeking a Tax Manager for their Jupiter office, a hybrid role that combines remote and in-office work. The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing client engagements, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and fostering strong client relationships. This position emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and community engagement, aligning with CohnReznick's mission to create opportunities and value for clients and employees alike.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Engagement Manager on specific client accounts, overseeing pre-engagement planning, execution, final deliverable development, and billing and collections.
  • Develop a detailed engagement work plan, illustrating budgets and schedules.
  • Monitor project status against the work plan and communicate schedule adjustments to management.
  • Develop a professional relationship with the client, ensuring they are informed of engagement progress and logistics.
  • Prepare timely and accurate bills for professional services rendered.
  • Demonstrate supreme customer service and professional integrity to gain client respect and confidence.
  • Manage client communications effectively and provide clear direction to the team.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in accounting; CPA required.
  • Minimum 5+ years of tax and accounting experience in public accounting.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Computer expertise including knowledge of audit-preparation software and an understanding of the impact of technology.
  • Strong research skills and proven technical skills with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with audit software, ProSystems or GoSystems, and CCH Engagement is a plus.
  • Solid organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
